Thanks for your participation! Below are the results of the unscientific survey to get a feel of what residents think about ECC expanding the ways it communicates online, generally a positive move, by joining Facebook.

Around two-thirds (68%) of U.S. adults use Facebook, according to a February 2019 Pew Research Center study.

The survey also gave ECC homeowners an opportunity to share their experience using Nextdoor, and provide related feedback, too. Thx. A total of 8 residents participated. For that, thank you.

Thank you for your participation.

This is not a scientific poll, just an opportunity to gauge what Elk Creek Crossing residents think about Facebook as another means to communicate, and share thoughts about Nextdoor, and so on.

Stats-wise, elkcreekcrossing.com has had 34,500+ visitors155 posts and 8 pages, since resident Susie Stern launched it on Elk Creek Crossing’s behalf in approx 2009, and through March 2019.

To save the HOA costs, the site is hosted for free on WordPress, and therefore site design is limited to the free website design templates the host offers, with limited functionality. Free hosting doesn’t allow custom coding or the use of plugins like Google and iCloud calendar.

The domain is rented. In order to remove the intrusive advertisements WordPress automatically sends to free websites, the provider charges an additional fee.
