ECC HOA Open Board Meeting Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017

(Elk Creek Crossing, Omaha, NE)  —  The Elk Creek Crossing Homeowner’s Association has called a Special Open Board Meeting for Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 7:30 – 8:30 at Standing Bear Elementary located at 15860 Taylor Street. Please check your mail box for a reminder.

The HOA wants to hear from residents about a variety of issues like adding mail box security and the costs involved – in light of  a rash of Dec. 24/25th mail box content thefts in our neighborhood.

There will also be an update on the expiration date of the Covenants. The Board shall share the annual report, give a reminder of the $35 annual HOA fees, and roll out a nice welcome to two special guests! Plan to attend:

We’re really looking forward to the meeting. We hope everybody can come! Omaha Police NW Precinct Captain Marcia West will be on hand for resident Q&A. Walnut Ridge/ECC Citizen Patrol Captain Jerry Schulte is also scheduled to be there to share what the volunteers do, provide stats, and announce an Omaha Mayor’s grant award, made possible with our support,” notes communications spokeswoman Susie Stern.

The ECC Board consists of Sam Wright (President), Brenda Jennings (Vice-President), and Ann Smith (Secretary). This team of three works together with Hannah Porto, property manager from P.J. Morgan Real Estate, and Susie Stern who manages Community Relations here and on Nextdoor.com.

Plan to Attend!

  1. Thank you very much for the mailer and for this posting about the meeting. I am sorry that I will not be able to attend due to a family holiday on the evening of the 9th. If possible, I would like to, via this post, share my support regarding the board’s addressing of the mail theft in our neighborhood. I live on North Branch Drive and have had multiple pieces of mail stolen from my mailbox. I have witnessed many boxes along North Branch that have clearly been opened and rifled through and left hanging half open. It’s been an ongoing issue for quite a few years now and the board has my full support in any effort that can be made to make our mailboxes more secure. Thank you.
