Yes, Trash Pickup on New Year’s Eve Day!

manual_1(ECC)  —  Don’t forget to leave trash bins at the curb this coming Monday (December 31, 2012). The City of Omaha’s waste collector IS picking up garbage on New Year’s Eve day. Yard waste trucks will also be rolling through the neighborhood Monday. Properly prepared Christmas trees can be left at curbside, too. Recall, the City Council had voted to extend Deffenbaugh’s contract for year-round yardwaste collection.

City-wide, Omaha will not be collecting trash on Tuesday, January 1st 2013, to observe the holiday. The service disruption does not impact Elk Creek Crossing since Monday is garbage pick up day here.
