Post-Storm Aftermath

Blizzard 2012 Aftermath 165th & Maple Area 024

(ECC)  —  Elk Creek Crossing got smacked with an estimated 6 inches of snow! Here within ECC, you can spot typical, post-blizzard conditions.

The overnight was marked with intermittent power surges, some tree branches cracking & breaking – an occasional fire alarm blaring its malfunction. December 19, 2012. The date the storm struck us – with a slight vengeance. Today is clean up day.

Our neighborhood schools – closed. City snow plows quickly cleared the side streets – in the a.m. Many homeowners got up early to push snow blowers & shovels in an attempt to clear it all. Off to work – many go – albeit later-than-normal for most.
